Winner of the Westborn Market Product Placement Competition Award at the Making It in Michigan Trade Show.

Mike’s Famous Michigan Bean Dip was one of four winners chosen from over 100 food producers participating in this annual food trade show put only  Michigan State University’s Product Center whom Clara’s Kitchen is a client of.  This was Clara’s Kitchen’s owner Michael Kruk first appearance at this or any other trade show.  The prize in the completion is shelf space in the three Westborn Markets located in Dearborn, Berkley, and Livonia Michigan. This event coincided with a meeting of the Michigan Grocer’s Association. This prize and the exposure to many store owners from throughout the state who sampled the product at the trade show will open Mike’s bean dip to new markets.  We are thrilled and honored to receive this award.  We are equally pleased with the positive comments we received about the bean dip, the packaging and the presentation.  We would like to thank all who helped us put this together.  Including the Lucy Bland ad the Can-Do-Kitchen staff, Brakeman Company for their design and marketing assistance, Signwriters Serigrapics for the display materials, the MSU Product Center and  all the supporters and friends who have helped for the past two years.  Mike would also like to thank his wife Caren for all of her support and encouragement.
